Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information DreamHire collects, why we use it, when we disclose it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.

1. Scope and accountability

This Privacy Policy applies to DreamHire.com, the DreamHire waitlist, and the invitation-only BidFury service (together, the “Services”). “DreamHire,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Services. An organization using BidFury may also be responsible for information it directs us to process.

We are responsible for personal information under our control and use administrative, technical, and contractual measures intended to support applicable privacy requirements. This policy is not a promise that every privacy law applies to every person or activity.

2. Notice at collection: DreamHire waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and a record of your consent, including the date, signup source, and versions of the consent language and privacy notice shown to you. We use this information to manage the waitlist and send DreamHire product news, private-pilot openings, and early-access invitations.

Joining is optional and is not required to browse the public website. We do not sell or share waitlist information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You may withdraw consent at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in a message or contacting [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect processing completed before it takes effect.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • contact details, including name, business email, organization, and waitlist preferences;
  • account, invitation, role, organization-membership, and authentication information;
  • messages, support requests, feedback, goals, approvals, and other information you submit; and
  • information required to connect an account or configure a permitted integration.

Information processed for BidFury

At the direction of an authorized organization, BidFury may process Amazon advertising profiles, marketplaces, campaigns, targeting, budgets, bids, reports, attributed performance, product economics, recommendations, approvals, workflow history, and verification results. Amazon credentials and tokens are treated as privileged service data.

Information collected automatically

Hosting and security systems may process IP address, device and browser type, requested path, timestamps, referral information, coarse location inferred from network information, security events, and diagnostic logs. The current public website does not use third-party behavioural advertising trackers.

4. Sources of information

We collect information directly from you, from an organization that invites or authorizes you, from connected services such as Amazon, from service providers that protect or operate the Services, and automatically when a device communicates with our infrastructure.

5. How and why we use information

  • provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Services;
  • authenticate users and enforce organization-based permissions;
  • synchronize authorized data and generate requested analysis, recommendations, simulations, and audit records;
  • communicate about access, security, support, service changes, and, with consent where required, product updates;
  • detect abuse, investigate incidents, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations; and
  • improve reliability and product experience using appropriately limited operational information.

Depending on the context and applicable law, we rely on consent, performance of an agreement, legitimate business purposes, and legal obligations. Where consent is the basis, it may be withdrawn subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

6. When we disclose information

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • infrastructure, hosting, storage, email, security, and professional service providers acting for us under appropriate restrictions;
  • the organization that controls your BidFury workspace and its authorized administrators;
  • Amazon or another integration provider when you direct or authorize a connection;
  • comply with law, lawful process, or valid governmental requests, or protect rights, safety, and service integrity; and
  • support a financing, reorganization, acquisition, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.

DreamHire does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

7. International processing

DreamHire and its providers may process information outside your province, state, or country, including in Canada, the European Economic Area, and the United States. Information in another jurisdiction may be subject to its laws and lawful access by its authorities. We use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the service and information involved.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably required for the purposes described here, including providing the Services, maintaining security and audit history, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention varies by record:

  • waitlist records remain while you are subscribed and for a limited suppression period after withdrawal so we can honour your choice;
  • account and workspace records remain during the relationship and a reasonable closure period;
  • security, authorization, and advertising-decision records may be retained longer when necessary for integrity, auditability, or legal claims; and
  • backups are retained on a rolling schedule and expire through controlled deletion.

Information may be de-identified or aggregated where permitted. We delete or securely dispose of information when it is no longer required.

9. Security

We use measures designed to protect information, including encrypted transport, restricted service identities, role-based access, protected secrets, audit records, backups, and separation between intelligence and advertising execution. See our Security page for more information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and subject to exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about our collection and disclosure practices; to withdraw consent; and to challenge our compliance. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

California residents may also have rights to know, correct, or delete covered personal information and to limit certain uses of sensitive information. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Canadian residents may ask about access, correction, consent, and our privacy practices.

Submit a request to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may request evidence of authorization. If your information is controlled by a customer organization, we may direct the request to that organization.

11. Email communications

Marketing messages will identify the sender, accurately describe their content, and include a practical unsubscribe method. We will process unsubscribe requests within the period required by applicable law. You may still receive transactional or security messages needed to operate an account or respond to a request.

12. Children

The Services are designed for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the waitlist or BidFury. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services or applicable requirements change. The updated date will identify the current version. We will provide additional notice when a change is material and required by law, and seek new consent when a materially new purpose requires it.

14. Contact and complaints

Questions, requests, or complaints may be sent to [email protected]. We will investigate privacy complaints and explain our response. You may also contact the privacy regulator with jurisdiction over your concerns.
